A fantastic online collection of more than 100,000 vintage press and poster ads from the 1850's to the last decade in over 50 categories from Airlines to Xmas. We particularly like the Travel section (with nice contextual ads from online travel aggregator Kayak).
For the comic geeks amongst you (admit it, it'll make you feel better), sister site Coverbrowser is well worth a look.
