Introducing the dogosphere

Another day, another app. This one translates your dog’s barks into human language and tweets them to the world. All you have to do is get your dog to bark into the microphone on your iPhone and the app uses a special algorithim to analyse what your dog is trying to tell you and displays it on your screen e.g. “I’m thirsty”, “I want to play”. Press the bone-shaped button below your dog’s statement to post it to Twitter, along with a profile picture of your dog. You can also add a comment, a feature designed to encourage interaction among dog owners on Twitter.

We predict this app will be a massive hit among dogowners when it is released this summer; the original piece of technology on which it is based – Bowlingual – has already sold over 300,000 units in Japan. Watch this space for the inevitable launch of the Miaow-lingual app.
