Google Voice to take on Skype

Within 24 hours of Google Voice launching, an impressive 1 million plus calls were made. Google Voice is an international voice/video calling service that is integrated into Gmail. It’s capable of transcribing voicemails straight into emails and SMS.

With this latest product developement Google are ready to take on Skype head-to-head with real-world implementation including branded retro red telephone booths with free internet phone connections placed in universities and airports.
